I wouldnt say so, very early days. We have the players. The new lads need time to gel and the confidence needs to bounce back up.

We won't finish in the European places, We won't win the FA cup or UEFA cup. All is not lost though. I am looking at this season as a watershed which will see the emergence of a few youngsters Rodwell, Gosling and Baxter (Kissock if he gets his hair sorted) Most importantly the resolution of Kirkby and the sale of the club, but only to the right buyer. I don't want to see us turn into the circus which is Newcastle.

We won't be back to the crap of the 90s (I hope) but with Villa and Citeh having all that money and decent managers to boot, we could well be in the armitage shanks.
