I remember waiting fopr what seemed ages for the anticipate 2nd album and in the press all the stories about will they deliver etc, and I went into town the day it was released, went to probe and waited for it to open, bought the album, got home and this is the first track, as far from disappointed as possible. More underrated than anything else they ever did this album.......

Woohoo I love that song! I also love the fact that 'Junior' looked about 57 :)
Anyone find Stomp by Brothers Johnson? Or You Gave me Love by the Whispers???
Brings back many a memory of Rumfords that does!

Now. I haven't got the sound but I know that vid. It's Junior. Mama said. He's Richard Blackwood's uncle. Think I might grow my hair like that. Oh, if only I was born in the 60s I swear that smilie's new ????

Are you using the reply tab, bottom left of the screen rather than the quick reply box underneath the last post?

I dont think Prince has made any bones about his influences - JamesBrown, Ohio Players etc are all in there but he still manages to make it sound original. Ahh, Curtis Mayfield .... another tune ripped off by todays young uns ...

Brap is just like a onomatopoeia like a gun shot. Brap sounds like a gun going off (I guess so, though I've heard a gun go off for real sounded nothing like it) I guess it's something the kids say when they approve of something. I think I over explained that. :brap: :innit:
