Going by that Miss Everton thread which was tacky porn for the lids I'd say be ultra selective with who you lure and entice, there were a lot of curtains needing dry cleaning there.

That asking for money is obscene and adds to my sense that being an evertonian now isn't the same as being an Evertonian the way I was educated. That sort of person and kirkby are welcome to each other and I wish they would go and join themselves there and leave the rest of us alone.

To be honest, I think the kids that have come and had a look have obviously found it not to their taste (too quiet maybe? ;) ) and havent stuck around. I mean, if you look at the memberlist, we've got some good people on board I just suppose its hard to get together at the same time with work and stuff. And call me paranoid but I thought during the call in/pre EGM period any 'action' that was being planned was picked up on by the club's arselickers and carried back to them - so a private place like this to discuss affirmative action would be ideal. Or maybe I'm just being paranoid .... :laff:

I don't think there's any paranoia at all, I think that's a very fair perception of the tactics used, the likes of Laphan and madden etc are sent out by the club like secret squirrel to find info and tactics out, the idea of a 2nd EGM I bet was picked up from message boards.

I have steered away from everton forums for a while recently... but from what I can gather... the 2nd EGM was a shit idea anyway.

I think the first EGM was a means of getting questions answered at the 2nd EGM, questions that would have exposed the board totally, but alone they wouldn't have got the support, once the momentum was under way more would have understood the need to have those questions answered in relation to the club as is, not just in relation to Kirkby.

I dont think a second EGM was a bad idea per se, but perhaps wholesale advertising of the intent to have one was.

Wayno, I have taken on board your constructive comments about the board and after much thought and deliberation I have decided, in true Everton style, to mull and ponder for an excessive amount of time before finally springing into inaction and doing precisely bugger all. :smile:

In Hoogies days -if you saw an admin -it was a person joining in or curbing inappropriate abuse.

Kipper was set up for Evertonians and is no longer for Evertonians- It now seems to be a 'cage match' for kids and an on going argument opportunity for idiots--with sadly a hotline to the PR machine at 'KIRBY ARE US HQ'.

I think Kipper was a victim of its own success - once it started getting its little freebies and recognition from the club, it was only a matter of time before it had to tow the party line. Used to be a proper scream on there but now, as you say, its just silly arguments or threads like the Miss Everton one. Maybe when it finally implodes we'll feel the benefit on here? <evil laugh>

do you remember a film called the star chamber, all off duty judges set up their own court? Should have one on here, any bell whiffs get thrown at their mercy majority decision allows them to stay or be slung out, deciding vote if needed goes to her maj up there with the buttons :P

I think I remember that - was Michael Douglas in it?

I doubt we'll need to ban anyone but like you say, it'll be a majority decision if it comes to it
